Graduates will be eligible for positions such as laborer, drywall installer or helper to experienced members of the following trades: plumbing, heating and air conditioning (HVAC), electricity, welding, painting, carpentry and masonry.
Students will also have a working knowledge of the most in-demand pre-apprenticeship tracks in the construction field, so that they can work toward career advancement in the early stages of employment.
The Careers in Construction Program consists of seven learning units. Each unit is composed of lessons that focus on specific areas of knowledge and skills that a student should learn to be an effective entry-level construction worker.
