Graduates of the program may obtain entry-level employment as medical office assistants in physician’s offices, healthcare clinics, public or private hospitals, nursing homes, or community health centers. Medical clerical positions are also available in research and care agencies, pharmaceutical firms, medical supply firms and related service businesses.
The Medical Office Assistant program consists of five learning units. Each unit is composed of lessons that focus on specific areas of knowledge and skills that a student must master to be an effective entry-level medical office assistant.
